How do you send adobe photoshop elements 7 pictures over email to a compter that has adobe elements 6?

Q. I am trying to email some pics from my dad's comp, which has elements 7, I have 6, but everytime I try to open them they unexpectedly close.

Does photoshop elements 6 not read DNG? Could it be some other problem? If it is the DNG, is there a free malware free download of a DNG reader somewhere?

A. Save the file as a JPG and send that instead.

Whats the difference between Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 trail and Adobe Premiere 7 trial?
Q. I want to download Elements 7 but it wont let me (see my other question) but under the download button there is another one saying that i might like the premiere thingy, it will let me download this?

And is it just another type of photoshop or something?

A. Basically, Adobe Photoshop Elements is for editing photographs and such. It is like the free image editor called Gimp (gimp.org), though a lot more professional.

On the other hand, Adobe Premiere is for editing video. It is like Windows Movie Maker or iMovie, though, again, a lot more professional.

So you have to decide what you want to do. Do you want to edit images? Get Photoshop. Do you want to edit videos? Get Premiere.

How difficult is Adobe Premiere Pro for a user to learn?
Q. I've mastered using Windows Movie Maker and I figured out how to use Sony Vegas decently well (not perfectly though). People have told me the learning curve is really steep for Adobe, but I assumed they meant that for people with no experience with video editing software? What do you think?

A. You're on the right pathway. Most people start with entry-level apps like Movie Maker and on to something a little more advanced before moving on to a pro app. It helps to have previous basic experience with editing. Otherwise, it can be very daunting and makes no sense to do anyway. All video editing apps have the same basic structure. The difference is in the number and level of controls and capabilities of the program itself.

Yes. It's difficult but why would a pro-level app be easy? If editing and FX was easy, we'd all be in Hollywood or Pixar. However, it's learnable. Obviously. Millions of people around the world do it everyday. You just have to take the time to learn it properly and practice.

You should look into Total Training's dvd products. Excellent group of pros can get you on track very quickly.
